Why do we listen to stories so deeply? We fold into the magical world we enter when the teller weaves words that take us there. Susan Garrison is a retired educator. She has explored the power of story all of her life and has performed professionally as a teller in such settings as the National Cemetery, Glen Echo Park, Washington Ethical Society, and numerous other venues.
